Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Monroe, NC is hiring a Merchandiser to present products and stock shelves at our customer retail locations.

The route serves multiple Convenience Retail, Drug and Value accounts with mileage reimbursement for travel between stores. The position requires following planograms and communicating with store management, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working Monday through Friday with an early start (5:30am).

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills which include listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively to satisfy needs of a variety of customers with differing demands and expectations.
• Willingness to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on shelves and in cold vaults.
• Distributes point of sale materials and ensures proper displays.
• Organizes back room cooler and stock areas to optimize layout and access.
• Maintains proactive communication with store personnel and responds to requests.
