Job summary

The Merchandiser at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated services multiple bulk accounts by merchandising approved products at customer retail locations. The route covers Hickory NC and surrounding areas, with mileage reimbursement for travel between stores.

Daily work starts early and may require weekend shifts. Responsibilities include organizing displays, rotating stock, and communicating with store management and cross-functional teams to support programs and planograms.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repeatedly).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelf according to procedures.
• Physically moves products from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelf.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging products and managing pallets.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow-ups and proactive pricing.
