Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, service multiple accounts by merchandising approved products, and follow planograms with store management.

This route covers Washington NC and surrounding areas, with mileage reimbursement between stores. The role requires effective communication, prior retail experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Retail customer service experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repetitively).
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures.
• Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelve where permitted; rotates product and checks vendor operation.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, and manages returns and damaged goods.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up and collaboration.
