Job summary

FreshDirect is seeking a Merchandising Operations Analyst to support the execution and optimization of merchandising processes. The goal is to ensure systems, workflows, and data are accurate, efficient, and scalable.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Operations, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Technology teams to contribute to projects that directly impact how we operate. The role emphasizes analytics, process documentation, and partner collaboration to identify gaps, improve

Qualifications

2+ years in merchandising operations, retail analytics, operations, or related field.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Support execution of merchandising operational processes and initiatives.
Document workflows, SOPs, and operational findings to support ongoing team initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams on active projects, gaining exposure to how merchandising, operations, and tech intersect.
Monitor operational reporting and flag issues as they arise.
Assist with implementation and testing of new systems and tools.
Partner with the Merchandising Operations Manager to identify process gaps, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
