Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Cartersville, GA seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and focusing on merchandising and freight processing. You will assist with daily store functions, open/close procedures, and maintain clean, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have retail and management experience, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and the physical capability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
