Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Kennesaw, GA to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering a positive customer experience. You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and maintaining store standards.

You will assist with daily store operations, open/close procedures, asset protection, and adherence to safety guidelines while delivering friendly, professional service to customers and associates.

Qualifications

Retail and management experience preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
Process freight and manage merchandise needs per productivity standards.
Plan and implement monthly sales planners and merchandise displays.
