Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and enhancing community experiences.

You will focus on merchandising and freight processing, assist with daily store functions, and uphold company standards for cleanliness and safety on the sales floor.

The role requires retail and management experience, excellent communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock as needed.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
