Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Duluth, GA, to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates. You’ll focus on merchandising, processing freight, and ensuring store standards and customer experiences.

The role requires experience in retail management, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You will help manage freight flow, stock merchandise, and support daily store operations to deliver value to communities.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentability
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow and stock merchandise needs
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain display panels with sales items
• Implement monthly Sales Planners
