Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Stone Mountain, GA. You will support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and ensuring merchandise presentation, freight processing, and daily store operations run smoothly.

You\'ll train and supervise associates, uphold safety and company policies, and help drive customer satisfaction through energetic, friendly service and efficient merchandising execution.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet physical demands.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and overall appearance.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with additional duties such as freight processing, merchandising, and planning.
