Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Allentown-Phillipsburg, NJ area to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, visual standards, and pricing accuracy to deliver a customer-ready store environment.

You will provide MOD coverage, lead truck and in-store processes, manage workload and staffing with leadership, and ensure accurate replenishment, promotions, and stock movement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and manage SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and programs.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards; maintain store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels via Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, pricing changes, and promotional signage.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs and ASN receiving.
