Job summary

The Michaels Companies is hiring a Merchandise Manager for the Hyannis, MA store. You will drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions.

You will support Store Manager with SOP compliance, provide MOD coverage, lead truck and in-store workflows, manage in-stock levels, execute pricing changes, Ship from Store, RTVs and ASN, and coach teammates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience implementing store SOPs and company programs.
• Strong workload planning and scheduling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOP/compliance with company programs.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution and ensure timely unloading and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock (SISO) routines to maintain in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain clean, organized store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute promotional ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time to maintain pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ensure accurate packing/shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction initiatives.
• Train and coach team members via onboarding and ongoing development.
• Partner in Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
• Other duties as assigned
