Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager in CHLT-PROVIDENCE, NC to lead merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, planograms, pricing, and visual standards.

You will own workload planning, inventory control, and in-stock optimization while guiding a team to deliver top-quality customer experiences and compliant store execution. Collaborate with leadership to align staffing and training, enforce SOPs, and drive promotions with accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience implementing SOPs and company programs.
• Strong merchandising and inventory control skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies, standards and store conditions.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading and merchandising flow.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain clean, organized store environment and backroom.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and shrink reduction.
• Execute ad sets, price changes, and Ship from Store fulfillment.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Train, coach, and develop team members; support asset protection.
