Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a positive customer experience. You will focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily operations to meet company standards.

The role requires prior retail and supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods. This position is full-time and based in-store.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep store clean and presentable; restock and tidy bathrooms and floors.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist with freight flow and merchandising of needs.
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners and clip strips.
