Job summary

Windsor Fashions is seeking a Merchandising Assistant to support the Buying Office with energy and organization. You will help with meeting prep, reporting, sample coordination, and cross-functional communication to bring Windsor's trend-right styles to customers.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a teamwork mindset as you manage samples, orders, and updates in our systems onsite in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent degree in fashion, production, or related field is a plus.
• One year experience in buying and/or production office is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Available to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Responsibilities

• Process, maintain, and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Maintain samples by receiving and organizing.
• Enter new orders and revisions in POE and on sample tags.
• Send new POs to vendors and confirm.
• Maintain Picture On Order and upload pictures to cloud.
• Request urgent tickets and labels as needed.
• Maintain emails and follow up on communications.
• Enter monthly markdown simulations.
• Submit chargebacks as needed.
• Maintain sample library and organize by month.
• Populate Monthly On Order areas with samples/pictures.
• Maintain and log samples given to the studio.
• Check daily in incoming samples by vendor and carrier.
