Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our team and work with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic group of associates. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight to ensure shelves are stocked and displays are optimized.

You will assist with daily store operations, maintain store cleanliness, and uphold safety and policy guidelines while delivering friendly, professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Capable of working in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking duties.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
