Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the store leadership and work with the Store Manager to guide a dynamic team. The role emphasizes merchandising, freight processing, and delivering positive community experiences.

Responsibilities include supporting store functions, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety and company policies while providing friendly interactions with customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
