Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates.

You will focus on merchandising and processing freight, assisting with all store functions, and ensuring a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, safeguarding assets including cash, maintaining store presentation, and executing corporate directives.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle physical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
