Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering a positive shopping experience. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while supporting daily store operations.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, asset protection, stockroom organization, merchandise planning, and coordinating freight flow to meet productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable across areas.
• Foster a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
