Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering excellent customer experiences. The role focuses on merchandising, processing freight, and maintaining store standards.

You will assist with daily store functions, oversee opening/closing tasks, and help manage stock and merchandise flow while ensuring a positive and safe environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Must have retail management experience or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy team environment.
• Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day‑to‑day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentability of bathrooms and store areas.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
