Job summary

Gap is seeking an Assistant Manager in Scottsdale, AZ to lead store operations and drive profitable sales. You will work with the General Manager to coach Leads and Brand Associates, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience and adherence to brand standards.

You’ll recruit and develop teams, manage merchandising and processes, and collaborate to execute the store strategy while promoting community involvement and omni-channel initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Able to utilize retail technology.
• Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
