Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and coach a high-performing team. You will drive profitable sales, manage customer and product operations, and execute the store strategy to achieve performance goals.

You'll collaborate with the General Manager/AGM to develop Leaders, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and meet business targets.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Strong communication with customers and team
• Passionate about retail in a fast-paced environment
• Driven by metrics to meet business goals
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends
• Able to travel as required
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and deliver results with a customer-centric mindset
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams
• Own assigned area of responsibility
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity
• Perform Service Leader duties
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs
• Represent the Gap brand and understand the retail landscape
• Promote community involvement
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience
• Ensure all compliance standards are met
