Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in guiding a dynamic team of associates and delivering a positive shopping experience for our communities.

You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and leading daily store activities to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive, energetic leader who can manage stock, safety, and company directives while upholding Dollar Tree standards.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or management experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities required.
• Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Open and close procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates
• Assist with receipt/return of merchandise
• Manage freight flow and stock needs according to productivity standards
• Plan, merchandize, and maintain displays with sales-effective items
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners
