Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a team and driving merchandising and freight processing. You will support daily store operations and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, asset protection, policy adherence, stock maintenance, and ensuring a clean, safe customer environment. Strong communication and physical fitness are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow and merchandise management.
• Plan and stock merchandise per productivity standards.
• Implement monthly Sales Planners and Clip Strips/Power Panels as needed.
