Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Prescott, Wisconsin to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive customer experiences. The role focuses on merchandising, processing freight, and maintaining store standards.

The position requires prior retail/management experience, strong communication skills, and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. A fast-paced, team-oriented environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restrooms.
• Provide a positive, safe environment for customers and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with duties such as processing receipts and managing freight flow.
• Order and stock merchandise, including frozen & refrigerated items, per productivity standards.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain display fixtures and monthly Sales Planners.
