Dollar Tree stores in Fond du Lac, WI are hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering great shopping experiences. You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and daily store operations to meet company standards.

The role requires strong communication and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs, with a willingness to perform a variety of tasks and maintain a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Open and close procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock as needed
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and associates
• Other duties as assigned
• Process receipt and return of merchandise
• Manage freight flow and stock merchandise including frozen & refrigerated
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners
