Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a retail team and driving a positive customer experience. You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and maintaining store standards across stockroom and sales floor.

You will assist with opening/closing, ensure asset protection, and execute corporate directives while providing a safe and friendly environment. This full-time role requires physical work and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Process freight and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stockroom/ sales floor standards.
• Plan, merchandise and stock merchandise needs including frozen & refrigerated items.
