Dollar Tree, Inc. is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Store Manager in guiding a dynamic team of associates and delivering positive experiences for our communities. You will focus on merchandising and freight processing, while upholding store standards and safety.

In this role you’ll help with daily store operations, stock management, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to success in our fast-paced retail team.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and communications to store activities.
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the store and restrooms.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Process receipt and return of merchandise and manage freight flow.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
