Description

Our Garden Group, providing sales support and logistics for proprietary and recognized consumer brands, is seeking a full-time Merchandiser in Highlands Ranch, CO. The role involves stocking and arranging product displays, including grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery, in home improvement centers like Lowe's, Home Depot, and Walmart.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Down stocking and maintaining set integrity for Central Garden products such as grass seed, chemicals, bird feed, fertilizer, and clay pottery.
2. Set and maintain shelves according to retailer planograms/modulars.
3. Install and maintain off-shelf display opportunities for Central Garden products.
4. Engage with consumers during peak season on weekends (training provided).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with store management and consumers.
• Ability to read labels and re-tag products accurately.
• Physical ability to bend, pull, and lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Capability to climb ladders, use a pallet jack, and hand tools.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Daily access to internet/email and a personal smartphone with specified OS and specs.
• Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious work habits.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Retail store environment, including garden centers and throughout the store.
• Workweek from Monday to Friday, with some weekends, mainly Saturday.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and use tools as described.
• Travel within the territory using personal vehicle.
• Remote work environment.

POSITION INFORMATION

• Hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 depending on experience.
• Reimbursement for cell phone, mileage, and travel expenses at $2.00 per hour worked.
• $10.00 monthly data plan allowance for app usage on personal phone.
