Job summary

Power Play Distributors is a DSD company based in Bolingbrook, IL that distributes premium frozen pizza products across the Midwest. We are seeking a part-time Merchandiser to stock, rotate and properly display products according to verbal orders and written procedures.

The role involves building relationships with store personnel, following programs, moving products from backroom freezers to the sales floor, and maintaining back room organization.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Car Insurance.
• Lift/carry up to 25–45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products and ensure full stock, rotation and proper display.
• Foster business relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and programs.
• Move products from backroom freezers to the sales floor.
• Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on display according to procedures.
• Organize and maintain back room by stacking by case and SKU, arranging returns of damaged and out-of-date product.
• Maintain standard reports of cases and hours worked at each store.
• Communicate issues to Sales Representatives and District Manager.

Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states.

Job Type:

Part-Time

Position Summary:

Perform duties to merchandise products and ensure all products are fully stocked, rotated and properly displayed. Work from verbal orders and written procedure documents:

• Fosters business relationship with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions. Remove product from backroom freezers and, using cart, move to sales floor.
• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by case and SKU, arranging the return of empty pallets, damaged and out of date product to the branch.
• Maintain standard reports of cases and hours worked at each store.
• Communicate issues and/or concerns to Sales Representatives and/or District Manager.

Knowledge/skills:

• Organizational Skills: Main responsibility is to organize products.
• Computer literacy

• Ensure all products have a shelf tag.
• Must have effective communication skills which include listening, speaking, and writing.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively to satisfy the needs of a variety of customers with different demands and expectations.
