Overview

Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states.

Position Details

Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Position Summary: Perform duties to merchandise products and ensure all products are fully stocked, rotated and properly displayed. Work from verbal orders and written procedure documents.

Responsibilities

• Fosters business relationship with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activity discussions. Remove product from backroom freezers and, using cart, move to sales floor.
• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and shelf according to procedures and special programs.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by case and SKU, arranging the return of empty pallets, damaged and out of date product to the branch.
• Maintain standard reports of cases and hours worked at each store.
• Communicate issues and/or concerns to Sales Representatives and/or District Manager.

Knowledge and Skills

• Must have effective communication skills which include listening, speaking, and writing.
