Job summary

Power Play Distributors in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to ensure products are fully stocked, rotated, and properly displayed. You will work from verbal orders and written procedures, building relationships with store personnel and moving products from backrooms to sales floors.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the physical ability to lift 25 to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Valid Car Insurance required.
• Lift/carry up to 25 to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fosters business relationship with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions.
• Remove product from backroom freezers and, using cart, move to sales floor.
• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by case and SKU, arranging the return of empty pallets, damaged and out of date product to the branch.
• Maintain standard reports of cases and hours worked at each store.
• Communicate issues and/or concerns to Sales Representatives and/or District Manager.

Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states.

Job Type: Part-Time

Position Summary

Perform duties to merchandise products and ensure all products are fully stocked, rotated and properly displayed. Work from verbal orders and written procedure documents:
