Job summary

Power Play Distributors is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver in Bolingbrook, IL to support direct store delivery of premium frozen pizza products across the Midwest. You will operate a tractor-trailer, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete ELD logs, and deliver orders to customers while complying with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Ideal candidates are 21 years or older, hold a CDL A license with at least 3 years of CDL experience, and can lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required and DOT compliance knowledge.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 3 years CDL experience preferred.
• Ability to move material up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle trailer loads of product using tractor trailer.
• Complete daily ELD logs.
• Delivering orders to customers.
• Loading route trucks with loading support.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely driving freights at various locations, over long distance with occasional overnight stay.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states. The Tractor Trailer Driver responsibility to shuttle raw material and finished goods to and from the manufactures and warehouse.

Unctions

• Work from verbal orders and written production sheets
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
• Shuttle trailer loads of product using tractor trailer
• Complete daily ELD logs
• Safely driving freights at various locations, over long distance with occasional overnight stay
• Loading route trucks with loading support
• Delivering orders to customers
• Ability to use hand pallet jack and common office supplies
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Utilize a smart phone for email/text/voice communication and ELD
