Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Merchandiser for the Cleveland, TN area. You will present products to attract customers, service multiple accounts, and follow planograms with safe handling practices.

This role includes rotating stock, creating POS materials, and maintaining backroom organization. Requirements include strong communication, prior retail/customer service experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with varying customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and uses a company-provided cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Fill, merchandize and rotate products on display and shelf per procedures.
• Move products from backroom to display area.
• Create and distribute point of sale materials where allowed and rotate stock accordingly.
• Organize back room by stacking products and managing returns and damaged goods.
• Develop relationships with store personnel and communicate proactively on pricing and programs.
