Job summary

The Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Cookeville, TN seeks a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, service multiple bulk accounts, and follow approved planograms while adhering to quality guidelines and safety rules.

You will move products from backrooms to displays, rotate stock, create point-of-sale materials where permitted, and build productive relationships with store personnel to capitalize on opportunities and promotions.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with diverse customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelves per procedures and programs.
• Physically moves products from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelf; rotates products and checks vendor operation.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor, handles returns and damaged items.
• Builds business relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and opportunities.
