Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is hiring a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, service multiple bulk accounts, and follow planograms and quality guidelines. The role involves physical merchandising, scheduling coordination, and collaboration with store management.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, placing products on display, creating POS materials, and maintaining back rooms while building strong relationships with store staff.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy a variety of customers with different demands.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repeatedly).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs.
• Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelve where permitted; rotates product and checks vendor operation.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor; handles returns of pallets and damaged/out-of-date product.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and proactive pricing.
