Join to apply for the Merchandiser/Cashier role at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Greet customers on the sales floor, direct them to products or to a parts specialist, check out customers, and deter shoplifters. Keep the front area stocked and clean, stock merchandise according to planograms or displays, and complete sales preparation.

Essential Job Functions

1. Merchandiser
2. Greet customers, assist with merchandise location, or direct to parts specialists.
3. Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
4. Maintain display fronted, full, and clean merchandise daily.
5. Update displays and pricing as per guidelines.
6. Ensure sale signs and flyers are properly displayed and removed after sales end.
7. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
8. Collaborate with the manager on store tasks.
9. Act as main deterrent for shoplifting and maintain security.
10. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
11. Clock in/out as per policy.
12. Cashier
13. Check out customers efficiently and friendly.
14. Handle returns professionally.
15. Assist customers at the counter during busy times.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Good aptitude for number sequences, interpersonal skills, organizational skills.

Desired: Previous cashier/stocking experience, ability to drive manual transmission vehicles, bilingual in Spanish preferred.
