Job summary

Aramark’s Regent Bank Amphitheater in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a Merchandise Supervisor to oversee merchandise operations, train vendors, and ensure guest satisfaction across all stands.

The role requires prior retail and supervisor experience, strong math for sales reports, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for a rotating schedule including weekends. This hourly/seasonal/part-time position supports a dynamic live entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Previous Supervisor experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills are required to facilitate sales reports and audits.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Work may involve rotational schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Hold pre-shift meetings to ensure the team knows the day’s tasks.
• Act as a concierge resource for guests with knowledge of surrounding areas.
• Train Merchandise Vendors to build a customer-focused team.
• Ensure smooth operations in the manager’s absence and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Ensure all stands carry the tour’s merchandise and meet Tour Managers’ expectations.
• Enforce uniform guidelines provided by the client.
• Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• May complete monthly safety inspections and file incident reports.
• May serve as an approved driver to transport merchandise to selling locations.
• Receive concert merchandise and secure it in storage.
• Count merchandise at the start and end of shifts with the tour manager and team.
• Collect and compile daily sales data using Excel and POS/PMS systems.
• Maintain a clean and inviting store atmosphere.

The Merchandise Supervisor oversees Merchandise operations by supporting and training the Merchandise Vendors.

Hourly/ Seasonal/ Part-Time Employee

Job Responsibilities

• Hold pre-shift meetings to ensure that the team is aware of the day’s task and any other miscellaneous information to ensure successful operations.
• Merchandise supervisors should be highly knowledgeable about the surrounding areas, acting as a concierge resource for all guests.
• Train Merchandise Vendors in their role helping to develop a team of customer service focused professionals.
• Ensure everything operates smoothly in the manager’s absence and that all customers relations issues are handled effectively.
• Make sure all stands are selling everything that tour has supplied us with and set stand up to Tour Managers expectations.
• Make sure all team members are following the uniform guidelines provided by our client.
• Respond directly to all customers' complaints and ensure they are resolved efficiently and immediately in a professional matter.
• May be required to complete monthly safety inspections and file incident and injury reports.
• May become an approved driver and transport product to selling locations.
• Receive concert merchandise from tour representative and secure merchandise in storage container from mail carriers.
• Count concert merchandise in and out with tour manager and then again with all associates
• Collect and compile daily sales data from all outlets using Microsoft Excel and various Point of Sales and Property Management System software programs.
• You must always ensure cleanliness and a pleasant store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Previous Supervisor experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills are required to facilitate sales reports and audits.
• Must provide proof of having earned a responsible alcohol training and certification program where applicable.
• Must be flexible, willing to work a rotational schedule with rotational days off that may include weekends and holidays.
• Must be well groomed and always maintain an elevated level of professionalism.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Work may involve exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
