Michaels in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to improve in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and ensure timely merchandising sets.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation to company expectations.
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store, including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product accuracy and proper stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across sales floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store fulfillment and ensure accurate pick/pack/ship processes.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation and inventory adjustments.
• Manage store shrink and asset protection practices through awareness and compliance.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through TM onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
