Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a part-time Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution on the sales floor.

You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, pricing, and visual standards to ensure a customer-ready store environment. You will lead workload planning, in-stock optimization, and planogram compliance while coaching team members and maintaining SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Experience enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ability to lead and train team across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOP compliance and policies.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to the floor.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Manage in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy and sales readiness.
• Ensure accurate price changes and pricing integrity.
• Oversee ship-from-store fulfillment, RTVs and ASN receiving.
• Maintain backroom organization and store cleanliness.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain service standards.
