Job summary

Michaels Stores in New York City is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the NYC-Brooklyn Heights store to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will lead pricing accuracy, promotional execution, and keep the store customer-ready through strong workload planning, stock movement, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead SOPs and Company programs to ensure legal compliance and store standards.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, unload, sort, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising to company expectations.
• Support backroom organization, store cleanliness, and customer-ready environment.
• Manage inventory control, price changes, and ad set execution.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Train and develop team members and uphold Asset Protection practices.
