Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager for our Columbus, OH location. The role drives merchandising, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution, ensuring a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Key duties include leading SOP adherence, managing truck flow, planogram compliance, and backroom organization, while developing staff and maintaining asset protection practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of pricing, promotions, and store readiness.
• Lead truck processing, inventory routines, and planogram/visual standards.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs, and ASN receiving.
• Manage workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
