Job summary

SanMar Corp. is seeking a Merchandise Sample Administrator to own and improve the sample flow for photo/video shoots. You will manage the sample library in Creativeforce, coordinate status updates, and work with the Producer to build production schedules.

This role requires organization, proactive problem solving, and strong communication across teams. You will handle on-site organization of styling pieces and ensure timely delivery of samples, with occasional weekend work and travel to shoots.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of administrative or merchandise coordination experience.
• Strong work ethic, leadership, and clear communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the merchandise sample library and data within Creativeforce.
• Primary contact for merch/sample status; coordinate weekly status reports.
• Act as go-to product expert; provide backup options for shoots.
• Determine logistical assignments for shoots; ensure timely delivery with documentation.
• Create production schedules with the Producer based on priorities and due dates.
• Organize styling pieces, products, and props onsite and track samples throughout production.
• Input new products, styling pieces, and orders into the tracking system; manage packing and shipping.
• Facilitate storage and documentation for long-term asset management; ensure reshoots can be supported.
• Develop SOPs for sample management and tagging locations for long-term scanning.
• Oversee movement of product between Eastpointe, Preston, and Seattle Photo Studio.
• Occasional weekend work/on-call; perform other duties as assigned.
