Job summary

SanMar seeks a Merchandise Sample Administrator to own and improve the sample flow for photos and video shoots. You will manage the sample library, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure items are delivered on time with proper documentation.

You will act as the go-to product expert, solve scheduling challenges, and generate weekly reports. The role is hybrid, based in Eastpointe/Seattle area, with occasional weekend work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in an administrative or merchandise coordination role or equivalent education.
• Strong work ethic and leadership qualities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the merchandise sample library infrastructure and data.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for merch and sample status; provide weekly reports on statuses and issues.
• Act as a product expert to offer backup options when initial choices are unavailable for shoots.
• Determine logistical assignments for shoot samples and ensure timely delivery with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with the Producer to create weekly production schedules based on priorities and deadlines.
• Organize styling pieces and props at SanMar facilities and track samples through the workflow.
• Input new products and orders into the tracking system with accurate tagging and shipping records.
• Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures for sample management.
