• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instruction.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally with associates and customers.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, standing, lifting and bending for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Transfer merchandise from containers and assess suitability for the sales floor per guidelines.
• Stay informed about brand names, designer labels, and current or vintage styles.
• Prepare items for the sales floor and evaluate quality, pricing, value, and salability.
• Count items processed and record on the official log.
• Sort apparel into boutique, salable, and salvage categories per quota.
• Hang and transport items to the sales floor with grouped items.
• Count clothing and record on the Daily Hanger Report.
• Place non-sellable merchandise in appropriate containers.
• Follow safety practices and report hazards or injuries to a manager.
• Maintain productivity to meet quotas for pieces processed.
• Keep a clean, neat uniform and appearance.
