Burlington Stores is seeking a Merchandise Planning Analyst Intern to gain hands-on experience in merchandise planning, location planning and retail analytics. The 10-week summer program includes leadership seminars, Excel training and store distribution center tours, with a hybrid schedule (office 2–3 days, remote 2–3 days weekly) and relocation assistance for eligible interns.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Relevant coursework and transferable skills considered.
• Currently enrolled with anticipated graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Interest in retail planning, analytics, merchandising or related business functions.
• Ability to analyze, interpret and apply data to support business recommendations.
• Excel proficiency and strong data handling skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and organization.
• Curiosity, adaptability and commitment to learning.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Merchandise Planning team within Burlington's merchandising divisions.
• Analyze location-level sales performance, trends and metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop reports, dashboards and analyses to inform planning decisions.
• Assist with forecasting activities and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising, Finance and cross-functional teams on initiatives.
• Use data to make recommendations for location-specific sales and inventory strategies.
• Participate in scenario planning and business modeling.
• Identify trends and insights to support sales growth and performance.
• Collaborate across functions to execute projects and reach shared goals.
