Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Fresno, CA is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution in-store. You will lead truck processing, planogram sets, pricing changes, and visual standards to deliver a customer-ready environment.

Responsibilities include SOP adherence, Manager-on-Duty coverage, inventory controls, and efficient ship-from-store fulfillment. Requires 3+ years of retail leadership and the ability to manage in a fast-paced store with weekend and early shift

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
Compliance with SOPs and company programs.
Strong workload planning and staffing coordination.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in leading and enforcing SOPs and company programs.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
Lead truck execution, unloads, sorting, and merchandise flow to sales floor.
Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
Maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) routines for in-stock levels and replenishment.
Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
Ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment.
Handle Ship from Store, RTVs, and ASN receiving with proper inventory adjustments.
Manage stock movement, backroom organization, and shrink reduction.
