Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. – Fairfax, VA store is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising, pricing accuracy, and store readiness. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure timely promotions and in-stock levels.

Responsibilities include managing SOP adherence, supporting MOD coverage, and coaching team members to sustain strong asset protection and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Experience enforcing SOPs and company programs
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced store environment

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOP adherence and policy execution
• Lead truck processing, inventory routines, and planogram sets
• Oversee in-stock optimization, merchandising visuals, and pricing accuracy
• Manage Ship from Store, RTVs, ASN receiving, and backroom organization
• Train and develop team members and uphold asset protection practices
• Ensure events and promotions are executed with accurate signage and product placement
