Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Knox-Maryville, TN area to drive merchandising and operational execution—from truck processing to planogram sets. You will lead with Store leadership, manage in-stock levels, pricing, and promotional execution while maintaining visual standards and a customer-ready store environment.

Responsibilities include SOP adherence, staff development, Manager-on-Duty coverage, and ensuring accurate pricing, signage, and store readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and manage SOPs and company programs.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards and maintain store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, inventory routines, and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Train, coach, and develop team members across departments.
