Job summary

Michaels is seeking a seasoned retail leader in the United States to support Store Manager duties and drive store performance. You will help implement SOPs, ensure policy compliance, and provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to sustain service standards and operational continuity.

You will lead in-store tasks such as merchandising, stock replenishment, pricing, and Ship-from-Store processes while coaching team members and supporting loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead store operations and drive results.
• Strong focus on SOPs, policy execution, and asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards and staff accountability.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unload, sort, and flow merchandise to floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy through SISO routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support store cleanliness and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and pricing changes.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Train, coach, and develop team members; support asset protection.
