Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, deliver top-line sales growth, and guide a team of Task Associates. This role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on performance, people, and process to ensure efficient shipment, replenishment, pricing, and compliance.

You will develop talent, manage scheduling and payroll, drive guest engagement, and stay ahead of trends in beauty products while maintaining attendance and store standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of fast-paced, retail management or equivalent experience.
• Strong financial acumen including payroll budgets and expense control.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to meet sales and service goals including guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Schedule and manage payroll using company tools; optimize productivity.
• Develop and coach associates; provide feedback and growth opportunities.
